Last Wednesday we were surprised the Flora tea rooms Dunwich were still open but they closed for the year yesterday.

A poor start today to the Armistice Centenary but approaching 10am the steady rain went away and the sun came out.  The Framlingham Remembrance parade assembled as usual in New Road with encouraging involvement from youth organisations.  On the hill was the biggest crowd we've ever seen for the parade, big enough to rather swamp St Michael's churchyard.  Impressive hand made tributes both inside and outside the church ... a fitting tribute.

 JOB  Framlingham post office needs a part time (17.5 hours/week) delivery postman/woman driver.

In Norwich yesterday the uni american football season started with the UEA Pirates having a comfortable(ish) 39-15 win over the newly promoted Queen Mary Vipers ... despite the Pirates struggling to convert touchdowns.  If anything the Vipers had the better passing game and both teams suffered from interceptions.  Lots happening on the sidelines with some cheer leader UEA ... more here
