The 2020 NEC Second Draft Code Panel Meetings Complete

The 2020 NEC® Second Draft Code Panel was held Oct. 22 - Nov. 3, 2018 in San Diego, CA. NEC Panel representatives from all 18 Code Panels met to act on comments received based on the First Draft report. The results of these actions will form the 2020 NEC Second Draft and related reports.

Standard for Installing and Maintaining Medium-Voltage Switchgear

This Standard describes site preparation and installation of new medium-voltage switchgear and maintenance procedures for existing medium-voltage switchgear nominally rated up to a maximum operating voltage of 38 Kv AC. It has been revised to align with the latest editions of associated product standards and the National Electrical Code (NEC®). NEIS standards go beyond the minimum safety requirements of the NEC and provide a roadmap on how to achieve high quality installations in a neat and workmanlike manner.
