#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of a unique blend of partners—charities, families, businesses, and individuals—to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide.

#GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, this year, November 27, 2018, to kick off the holiday giving season and to inspire people to give back. Millions of people around the world have participated in the movement.

SustainFloyd has achieved much this year raising climate awareness, renewable energy programs, recycling, a new local food guide and more. Help us continue and expand our projects in 2019.

This #GivingTuesday, we are raising funds for the new Winter Floyd Farmers Market. This year, we extend extend our Floyd Farmers Market year to give people the opportunity to buy locally made, farmed, and grown produce, foods, meats, and crafts into the winter months.

Starting on December 1, we will operate the Floyd Farmers Market at the Floyd Center for the Arts (220 Parkway Lane, Floyd, VA 24091). The market will be open from 10:00am until 2:00 each Saturday.

Your support will help us organize and staff the market so that our vendors will be able to continue providing Floyd County with fresh, local, and organic food and our shoppers will have access to our local bounty and to to our matching SNAP benefits program.
