Do Something Active
Our Do Something Active project which equips female leaders to become peer educators in health & well-being programmes has been running across Belfast youth organisations over the last few weeks.

Boys & Girls Clubs will host our annual Boys 5-A-Sides Tournaments this Winter for Boys Under 12's and Boys Under 14's.
Places can now be booked for you and your youth organisation to play in Lisburn, Omagh or Newry with successful teams to advance into the NI Final in Manchester.
Education Authority Public Consultations on proposed Funding Scheme
We would like to remind our readers that The Education Authority (EA) is seeking the views of Youth Service stakeholders including children, young people and other interested parties on a proposed funding scheme for Regional and Local Voluntary Youth Organisations.
Consultations on these proposals will take place between the 6th November 2018 and 5th February 2019.
Following consultation and approval by the EA Board and presentation to DE, a summary report of responses to the consultation and the agreed new Funding Scheme for regional and local voluntary youth organisations will be made available to the public on the EA website www.eani.org.uk.
Many young people across our youth club membership have been getting involved in our good relations project 'Do Something Together'.
This project has helped build community relations across the Portadown area with a range of youth organisations including Scotch Street Youth & Community Centre, Dungannon Youth Resource Centre, Oasis Youth and Seagoe Youth Group.

The Education and Training Inspectorate has released their 2016 - 2018 Chief Inspector report for the Department of Education, Department for the Economy and other Commissioning Departments.
This report looks at youth as well as pre-school, primary, post-primary and special school education.
Social enterprise NOW Group is seeking donations to make up Christmas hamper's for its award winning Family Service that supports parents with a learning difficulty or autism and are expecting a child or have a child under 5 in the Greater Belfast area.
They are looking to gift each of the 48 families they work with and have collection points to donate gifts in Belfast and Crawfordsburn.
Boys & Girls Clubs is a Voluntary Youth Headquarter Organisation that works to support and represent a membership of over 150 youth clubs and youth organisations with a collective membership of some 15,000 young people across Northern Ireland.
