I hope everyone here in the US had a great Thanksgiving. It is always good to slow down a bit and reflect on what is truly important in our lives. I am pleased to announce my 2019 Teaching Schedule. It is full of opportunities to come and either build instruments or take master classes with me and some special guests. As is usually the case, when I announce my schedule for the coming year it is almost full. Folks interested in getting on my teaching schedule contact me throughout the year and schedule dates for the following year. As you can see in my schedule all of the one on one private classes are full. You can contact me to get on a wait list or schedule dates for 2020. That sounds like a long way off but folks are already reserving dates for 2020 and at this time next year when I officially announce my 2020 schedule it will most likely already be filled. So, if you are serious about coming and building an instrument with me go ahead and get in touch and let's put some dates on the calendar.
Some of the highlights for next year are my very popular classical and steel string two day masterclasses as well as my two day French polish class. I am also pleased to announce that Australian luthier, Trevor Gore, will be returning in July to offer his three day Modal Tuning Masterclass. This very popular class has helped a lot of people under stand how a guitar works and how to get the most tonally from the instrument. It will fill quickly.
In addition, Spanish luthier, Paco Chorobo, will be returning to offer his Traditional Flamenco Guitar making course in August. This was a very popular class this year and will no doubt be just as popular in 2019. I am also scheduled to teach at the world renowned Marc Adams School of Fine Woodworking in June next year. As you can see, it is going to be a very busy year and I look forward to meeting a lot of you and building some fantastic instruments.
