"Then the angel said to them,"Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of GREAT JOY which will be to all people. For there is born this day in the City of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." Luke 2:10-11 NKJV

Dear Friends,
Carole and I love you and thank God for you! We pray that your hearts will be filled with His joy because He lives and His love for us never fails!
At Almond Tree Ministries we begin our Christmas Celebrations on December 8th with a Christmas Concert / Banquet and the children receive special treat bags. The whole community is welcome!
On December 15th gifts are delivered to all the children and each family on the Key First Nation receives a ham, a turkey and a well stocked food basket for Christmas!
We thank God that Almond Tree Ministries can bless and show His love to the whole community as we celebrate the birth of our Savior and our Lord, Jesus Christ. A special thank you for the love and support of "700 Club Canada" who partner with us in this endeavour.

ATCA News – Each week begins with a Chapel Service for staff and students. The school curriculum used is the “Accelerated Christian Education Curriculum”, which is a standard for many Christian schools across the province. Each student learns at his or her own rate and there is plenty of time for one on one tutoring. Christian values are emphasized!

We feel nutrition is an important part of each student’s learning. A hot breakfast is provided every morning and a hot lunch every other day. Our hunters got a deer and a moose this fall for the school, as seen in photos. The students helped to cut up the meat and freeze it for the hot lunch program, as well as, take some home for their families.
|
|
God wants us to be generous and we use every opportunity to teach and share His word. This spring the school got ten laying hens which have been a great life skills experience for the students. The eggs are distributed among the students’ families, elders and school meal program. Our hearts are full of gratitude for all God’s supply!

My niece, Carmel, visiting from New York, volunteered to organize our office files-great job! Also we so appreciated her computer skills! What a blessing!

“Delight yourself also in the Lord, And he shall give you the desires of your heart.”Ps.37:4 NKJV It has been Carole’s heart desire, for many years, to have a new school built for the students as the school is presently in the church basement. We are praising the Lord for what He has done! Through a generous donation towards a new school building we have had back hoe, trucks and other machinery to prepare the land this fall and the forms are ready to pour the concrete.
|
|
Once the concrete is poured the frame will be built and lumber has been donated already. Our need is $30,000 for the concrete. We are trusting in Jesus for He owns all the wealth of the nations! He is a good Father!

Prison Ministry
Thankfulness for Partners in the Gospel
by Chaplain Wes Dynna
As one of the sight-based Chaplains at Saskatchewan Penitentiary,
I welcome this opportunity to express my appreciation and gratitude to those who serve inmate populations, by extension, with us Chaplains. Pastor Allan & Carole O’Soup, and those like Chuck Armstrong and others who accompany them from time to time, are choice and wonderful examples of dedication, faithfulness, anointed ministry and passion to those incarcerated. Inquiries by the prisoners of myself are regular as to when the O’Soups are going to be at Chapel Service next! And attendance and attention of the men is consistent proof that their presence is anticipated, planned for and welcomed. Their seasoned ministry of speaking and singing (Carole!), mixed with candor, grace, humor and spiritual fatherhood / motherhood personas, engages, enriches and impacts the lives of “the least of these brothers.” In esteem and honor of this precious couple, I echo the words of the Apostle Paul in saying, “I thank God every time I remember you . . . I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel.” (Philippians 1:3-5)

Pastor Greg Bitely, a dear brother in the Lord, ministered at Almond Tree Church Oct. 28-31. We thank God for his servant heart and boldness in sharing God’s word!
