This year for Giving Tuesday, in honor of the Guild's 30th anniversary in 2019, we invite you to join these authors in helping us to usher in a new decade of innovative and accessible programming at the intersections of literary arts, activism, and community. The Guild's programs connect artists and audiences across Chicago’s neighborhoods, and across boundaries of discipline, background, language, and experience.

Over the next year, The Guild will be raising $30k for the 30^th year of the organization in order to expand our core programming in scope and ambition, present a series of unique celebratory anniversary programs and events, and consolidate the Guild’s history to serve as a resource for the future.

Many of Chicago’s most respected and accomplished writers -- friends and associates of the Guild, including members of our Board of Directors – have come together to pledge their support for the Guild's mission, and to issue a challenge to the Guild community:
