In case you haven't had one of these through your letter box EDF are taking a show about the proposed Sizewell C on the road at the start of January. No show in Framlingham, nearest Hacheston Thursday 10 Jan but perhaps the most convenient for the working person Saturday 19th at the Riverside Centre Stratford St Mary. |

Christmas doesn't start until you've been to the Brundish Christmas Fair and we went to this convivial and charmingly intimate event this afternoon. Daddy Christmas made a brief visit (he is rather busy this time of year) to hand out sweets and entrance enjoyably included a tea and mince pie. Next Brundish event is a candlelit service tomorrow week with the Chantry Singers. |
Yesterday Victoria Mill Road Framlingham by the junction with Station Road was closed to fix a water leak. Today it is only pretending to be closed but the leak is still leaking and running into Station Road. |

Next June the national road cycling championships will be held in Norfolk and the seemingly attached cycling festival with a little irony will include something the Beeb calls cross-country, cyclocross? (But cyclocross has a winter season?) |
It will be the 15th annual Felixstowe Christmas Day Dip this year. It was brilliant fun when we snapped it a few years back, we even got our feet wet through the holes in our crocs. |

Delayed by roadworks on the A14 and in Colchester we arrived at the Amis Velo Supacross in time for the back end of a veterans race followed by the seniors to end the day. The skaters at the rehearsal of The Little Mermaid in the Tommy Mills Framlingham's sports hall today were wearing off ice skates, they look like inline skates but the four wheels are mounted in a curve so only two wheels touch the floor making spins and turns easier.
