Welcome to newsletter No.9.
Time to reach out.

Now that the cold draws in, it's time to reach out. For...a blanket, a cup of tea, a hug, a listening ear, or to someone else who looks like they need any/all of the above.

Here at the Adventure Bureau we embarked on this action during our last show at the Wardrobe Theatre. All our ideas had gone missing, so we asked our eager honorary Adventurers to help us. Amongst the ideas was this: a picture of a frog reaching out to a house with its tongue.
In the tale inspired by this picture, we found out that the frog was eating a whole town because it was extremely hungry. All the vegetables on its home planet had stopped growing because the clock that kept time going was broken. Eventually the clock was fixed by a T-Rex king. His town was rescued from the frogs belly, and the frog got to eat plump vegetables once again. Hooray!
Inspiration:

Inspired by the frog and continuing the theme of reaching out, we found this video from artist Echo Yang who attaches different painting implements to machines and lets them 'do their thing'. We like to think that the artist was reaching out to this toy chicken for help creating this masterpiece.

For another Sunday show - THIS WEEKEND!!

At 10:30am this Sunday (25th November), reach out to your front door and push it open, then walk, cycle, drive or hot air balloon your way to the Wardrobe Theatre for another fun-filled adventure show brought to you by your favourite pair of pals, Katie and Simon. IT STARTS @ 11AM! We would love to see you there. Why not reach out to your friends and bring them too?! Winter is always warmer together, just look at penguins!
