“It was just a matter of time…”
On this Thanksgiving, we’re joining our friend Peter in giving thanks for you. Peter was one of the many non-Christians who regularly attend our church. Members of his family were committed Christians, but he remained a skeptic, reflecting the post-religious sentiment of his European homeland. Andrew developed a close friendship with Peter and was able to share the gospel with him often and winsomely, but he moved to the other side of the world still clinging to his unbelief.

It’s heart-wrenching to see those we love move away while still cold to the good news. But God is THE great missionary. Peter recently sent me a message. He was referring a friend in Bogotá to our church. He added at the end of his message, “My son and I got baptized recently. We are now one family in Christ. It was just a matter of time…”.

Sometimes the Lord allows us to reap, sometimes to he asks us to sow. Thank you for allowing us to do both as your servants to the nations and the next generation. It’s because of your faithful prayers and generosity that we could play a role in Peter’s conversion. What a privilege.

Health Update
I (Andrew) can’t thank you enough for your prayers and kind words of encouragement throughout my health difficulties (a dissected artery in my neck) and hospital stay. I was finally released a few days after I sent that last newsletter. My doctors are pleased with my recovery, but I still have a few months until things will be back to normal. I appreciate your prayers for patience and continued improvement in this process.

Gratefully,
Andrew w/Laura Kate, Fox, Evie Jude, & Lucy

We had a full house on Tuesday as we hosted our annual Thanksgiving community meal. This is one of the strategic ways we meet new people in our community. For example, not only did a Turkish Muslim woman enjoy our meal and listen to the Thanksgiving gospel presentation. She even made an apple pie to share. Can you spy Laura Kate enthusiastically serving stuffing?

The upside of being in the hospital is that two grandmas got to come help out with our kids.

The influx of our new Venezuelan friends have brought with them baseball. We're not sad about having a taste of home nearby.

A princess, dragon, and knight for our neighborhood's Halloween party.
