The Cadet Class Association is offering East Coast regional training at Alton Water over the Christmas period. 

We have secured the services of top quality coach Amy Seabright (yes, you heard us correctly!) to be lead coach for this event, with the possibility of a guest appearance by one or two other coaches during the programme.

The cost will be £200 per boat for 10 sessions of training (in total 5 days). The dates are: 8th Dec afternoon, 15th Dec afternoon,  22nd Dec afternoon, 23rd all day, 28th all day, 29th all day, 30th afternoon. The level of training will be aimed at boats who want to do Open meetings and Selector events in 2019 but are not currently in either the National Squad or UK Junior Squad. 

The number of places will be limited to ensure all boats benefit from the top programme of coaching. if sailors also want to also enter the Alton Water Freezer series the membership, storage and entry will need to be arranged directly with Alton Water. Currently membership will be £18 until end of March and storage £20 for 2 months

Time to put all your worries to bed! The Cadet Class Association proudly presents The Starting Masterclass, a one day event focussed entirely on the most important 5 minutes of the race. And who better to run this than the man looking down that start line - yes, our very own Race Officer, Bob ‘Arky’ Wainwright! And he’ll be supported by a top quality coach, there to give you feedback on the water. It will all be captured on film so you can replay triumphs and learning opportunities to your hearts’ content. 

This specialist event within the Regional Training programme will be held at South Cerney Sailing Club on Saturday 26 January.  Book your place via the website - it’s only £30 per boat!
