The CO2 Systems Specialists

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 John Cudworth 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

From the dramatic highlands of Scotland...
Scotland lays claim to our newest CO2 Artist. Please welcome the talented John Cudworth.

Johns passion for aquascaping and keeping planted aquariums has grown over the last decade from hobby to job to actually encompass his whole life and home. Initially setting up Aqualandscape in Edinburgh to help supply and maintain aquascapes for a range of clients John decided to take it one stage further and relocate to the beauty of the highlands of Scotland. Closer to nature, closer to inspiration.

It is here Johns been developing his studio as a way of polishing his skills and portfolio of finished scapes. Sited in a Birch forest in the foothills of the Cairngorm mountain range. Currently evolving from his love of the classic nature aquarium. A style which lent itself to many lucky clients tanks and the demands of maintaining longer-term scapes. John looking forward to breaking out of that mould over his new few pieces. As well as pursuing an interesting in integrating aquaponics into aquascaping with some larger greenhouse projects.
Aqualandscape

Ludwigia repens rubin

Difficulty: Easy

Tank Position: This plant will grow up and up to heights of 30+cm. With this in mind, the most suitable position is towards the rear of the aquarium.

Lighting: To get the best out of this plant use moderate lighting levels. This ensures the best colour and growth.

Temperature: The Ludwigia does well in aquariums with a temperature range of 15-30℃

CO2 Requirements: For best growth, it is advisable to add CO2 at low levels. Like all plants, Ludwigia will benefit by CO2 Injection.

Feeding: Regular dosing with an iron rich fertiliser plus the addition of trace elements will provide great results.
