Dear Friends,
We celebrate this holiday season by letting you know the impact that Chances for Children International has had this year. At a cost of 67 cents a day, or $20 a month, we’re giving hundreds of kids, mostly young girls, the life-changing chance to be educated.
In Vietnam...
- Village girls now go to school instead of working in rice fields.
- Ethnic minority girls attend college instead of being trafficked.
- Deaf children learn instead of spending their lives in social isolation.
In India...
- Muslim girls get an education instead of being relegated to their homes.
- Village children use laptops instead of broken pencils.
- Impoverished kids go to school instead of begging on the street.
In Tanzania...
- Orphaned children have a loving family instead of a bleak and lonely future.
- Rural children get a high-quality education instead of a decrepit classroom.
- Village children have the possibility of a bright future instead of hopelessness.
In Guatemala...
- Teenaged Mayan girls learn math and job skills instead of working in fields.
- High school graduates can now attend university instead of ending their educations.
- Economically-disadvantaged youth fulfill their dreams of a university education instead of living subsistence lives.
