The first stage was to make a photoshoot of the model, Fernando Martins, which I would use later to make the illustrations. These images are the ones I chose to edit for displaying purposes, but I used other ones to develop the illustrations. Let me introduce you my friend, Fernando.
The second stage was to create the album cover. The first version was made considering the ideas Bob DiGiacomo proposed. I was very literal in this one. He asked the representation of the bitter/sweet sensation when you awake after a dream. I was looking for a font to make a perfect pair for the idea of dream and mixed feelings. And I found Harsey made by Letterhend Studio, which I bought at Creative Fabrica. You can buy it following this affialiate link (*): Buy Harsey! Then, I got the final cover.
The third stage was to create some alternative versions to use for Facebook ads or for promotion of the album. The final cover had the idea of dreams and for extension, something light as air. I got from this the idea of the classical elements from the concept of the ancient Greeks. I chose water and fire to develop my ideas. I got two more covers.
