PROVINCIAL TEAMS INFORMATION:
SHA Provincial playoffs are a longstanding tradition by SHA.  “Starting in January, series begin between teams from nearby areas of the province, and winners advance to play regional winners from other areas. Teams compete in each division further broken down by the size of the communities that teams hail from, and champions are named by the end of March.”
  • Each provincial series consists of two (2) games, total goals count.
  • No overtime shall be played in the first game. If at the end of the second game the teams are tied in total goals for the round, the overtime procedure (as per Rule 10.16 of the Hockey Canada Official Playing Rules) will prevail.
  • Provincial playoff games shall have preference over league, exhibition and tournament games.
To learn more, please reference the SHA handbook (https://sha.sk.ca/teams/sha-handbook)

THANKYOU!  For taking care of YMH Jerseys!
* All team jerseys should be kept in the team jersey bag that has been provided.
* Do NOT remove sponsor bars.
* When attaching name bars, A’s and C’s use a loose stitch or zigzag stitch.
* Always hang jerseys outside the garment bag to allow air flow.
* When not washing jerseys, spray with Febreeze or another fabric freshener.
* When washing - warm wash and hang dry (DO NOT PUT IN DRYER).
* TIP:  The number of washes is dependent on how sweaty the players are!  The older the players, the more often the wash is required!
Early in the new year the Yorkton This Week showcases all the Yorkton Minor Hockey teams in the newspaper.  As such, each team is required to provide a team photo by December 21, 2018 to the Communications director - Carla Lammers.
