I am thankful for the $3,610.55 that has been raised to support Sinister Wisdom in 2019 and for the two new sustainers who have signed up to support Sinister Wisdom every single month.
I am thankful for the kind words and kudos that women have been sending from around the world about Sinister Wisdom 110: Dump Trump--and for the questions, concerns, and critiques that lesbians have been raising as well (more about those in our Spring 2019 issue!)
For more than forty years, Sinister Wisdom has published creative work by lesbians that resists, ignites and inspires us to build a new world—a world with more justice, more peace, and more prosperity for all. We begin to build that world in our imaginations, supported by our literary and artistic cultural creations. Sinister Wisdom thrives because lesbian imagination endures and thrives. Four times each year, Sinister Wisdom releases a new issue, on the fifteenth of the first month of each quarter. Sinister Wisdom has a stellar line up for 2019. For subscribers, lesbian goodness keeps coming to your door—every single quarter.
Subscriptions are important, but they do not cover all of the bills. That is why contributions are so important. There is no limit to our imaginations for what Sinister Wisdom can produce. A small group of people always is responsible for sustaining community institutions like Sinister Wisdom. For Sinister Wisdom to continue to thrive, we need to continue to expand our subscribers and supporters. Every fall, I am blown away by the support we receive during our fall fundraising campaign and this year is no different. This fall, we already have raised over $3,600 or about 48% of our fundraising goal! We have added 2 new sustainers!

There is still more work to do. In order to ensure all that is planned in 2019 will publish, Sinister Wisdom has to raise $7,500 by the end of the year. This includes subscriptions and renewal, additional gifts, and donations. We have just five weeks left to meet our goal. To continue to publish Sinister Wisdom, I need your support.
