With the ongoing threats to the environment and our leaders refuting science and data, it can often feel like an insurmountable challenge to address our planet’s most pressing needs before it’s too late.
But at Conservation Strategy Fund, we are determined. And we know you are too.
In 2018, we completed an in-depth analysis of planned roads in the Amazon basin to provide policy makers with fact-based evidence to optimize infrastructure investments for both people and nature. In Bolivia, we have made great progress towards establishing a long-term, sustainable financing mechanism for conservation projects by engaging the public and the private sector. In Indonesia, we led a series of trainings for Sintang Regency to develop a long-term sustainable development plan that will ultimately preserve some of the world’s last remaining orangutan habitat. Globally, we trained more than 250 people, continuing our 20-year effort to raise the level of economic literacy among decision makers and leaders.
