Buc Bulletin
CROSS COUNTRY: The Lady Bucs finished in 13th place in the NCAA South Regional Cross Country Tournament on November 17. The Lady Bucs were led by Johanna Wistokat, who completing the women's 6k course in 22:45, earning USTFCCCA All-South Region honors (see Kudos above). She finished finished 19th of 130 runners, and was the fourth-place freshman in the race. The Bucs fielded an incomplete men's team. Junior Jacob Axton led the way with a 110th-place finish of 36:04 on the men's 10k.
MEN'S BASKETBALL (3-1, 0-0 GSC): Visiting Lane out-scored the Bucs 6-1 over the final 1:11 as they claimed an 83-79 win Tuesday night in a nip-and-tuck game where neither team led by more than six points. The Bucs return from the Thanksgiving break Monday night at 7:00 p.m. as they host Harding University at Canale Arena. This weekend, they begin GSC play with games at West Florida and Valdosta State. WOMEN'S BASKETBALL (2-0, 0-0 GSC): The Lady Bucs out-scored host Lane 6-0 in the last minute as they rallied for a 68-63 win Tuesday night after trailing by as many as 15 points earlier in the contest. The Lady Bucs open GSC play this week as they visit West Florida Thursday night at 5:30 p.m. Their next home game is Tuesday, December 4, when they host Lane College at 5:00 p.m. Full schedule…
