Instead of brining the turkey or baking pies, the last few days I've spent in Excel (and not the kitchen) updating and creating some new tables and charts. These should be easy viewing and the sortable tables can even be fun to play with while you are watching American football games.
US EV Charging Statistics
Three new EV charging tables/charts on the EV Charging page are:
A new sortable table: Number of Public Charging Locations (Sites) & Outlets in the US By State | Ratio of Outlets to Locations | Ratio of EV Stock to Charging Outlets
Chart: Number of Public Charging Stations (Outlets) in the US – 2011-2018
Chart: Number of Cumulative EV Sales vs. Cumulative EV Charging Stations | Ratio EVs to Charging Stations
EV Sales and Market Share By US Red vs. Blue State and Multiple Factors
With this new sortable table you can compare all 50 US states + the District of Columbia (colorized as a red or blue state - meaning tended to vote Republican - red and Democrat - blue) and then against each state's EV sales market share, whether the state is a ZEV or ZEV mandate state, whether it has a rebate and/or tax credit, the median price of a gallon of regular gas, % light trucks purchased and the median household income.
If you have a few minutes play around with the table, you might find some surprises.
Also, I plan to add several more factors - send me an email let me know what factors you think would be of most interest and value to include.
EV Sales and Market Share By US State
The sortable table below includes sales of electric vehicles (PHEV and BEV) and the EV market share (percent of EVs sold of total light vehicles sold) for all 50 US states and Washington, D.C. New update includes percentages for each state for the month of August 2018.
Federal EV Tax Credit Phase Out Tracker By Automaker
Federal EV tax credit tracker is now updated through October sales.
Not seeing EV analysis you are interested in? Send me a note with your idea or I'd just love to hear from readers on what you like and don't like.
If you live in the US I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and have a chance to forget about electric vehicles and spend some quality time with family and friends!
