Our second round of $5-50k Arts Activities funding will open on Saturday 1 December 2018. Applications are due 28 February 2019. artsACT funding can be used for a range of activities across a number of artforms. For all the information head to our website, and read the Arts Activities Funding - Application Handbook

If you're not sure this funding is right for your project, or want to know more about what to put in an application, come along to our information night. If you can't make it, you can watch an information session recorded earlier this year. 

We highly recommend chatting to us about your idea before you submit an application. We are running one on one sessions, which you can book in for on 12 December. We will be running more one on one sessions for this round in January 2019, with dates yet to be confirmed. In the mean time, you can email us, call 6207 2384 for chat, or organise a different time to come in and see us.

AGAC Summer Revel

Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centre's Summer Revel program has launched! The lineup features music, food and drink, market stalls, garden games, film screenings, arts exploration and more.

Music ACT and Ditto team up to deliver professional development 
Need some tips on how to get your music out there in a digital world? Come along on 4 December for tips on distribution, royalties, uploading, Spotify and artist profiles. All are welcome but please RSVP online. Kickstart 101 is an intensive invite only workshop with one-on-one advice on how to maximise your music on digital platforms. If you're interested in attending, send an email to Shannen including a 50-70 word cover letter explaining why the workshop will benefit your music career. Congratulations to Tuggeranong Arts Centre 
Tuggeranong Arts Centre received two awards for recent projects which were delivered through the Centre's Community Arts and Cultural Development program. The Violets Park project received a 2018 National Trust ACT Heritage Award, and the Just Like Clockwork children’s musical won an ACT Children’s Week Community Award. To celebrate these awards and the launch of Tuggeranong's 2019 program, come along to their Big Bang End of Year Party on 7 December.    

Studio Masterclass 2019
Belconnen Arts Centre are calling for artists to submit expressions of interest to participate in the March-June Studio Masterclass 2019 program. Artists across a range of art forms are asked to devise a short, one-off intensive masterclass to be presented in their studio. EOIs are due Friday 14 December. Get in on the local shopping action across the boarder. Gifts on Q in Queanbeyan is stocking a bunch of treats to help you cross names off your Christmas list. Arts Tourism Research released
The Australia Council for the Arts have released their latest research report, International Arts Tourism: Connecting Cultures. The research builds the evidence base about the role of the arts in supporting economic activity, and the arts' contribution to cultural exchange, soft power and Australia's international reputation.
