Apricots are hot this week. The current variety of Apricot is Royal Rosa and it's one of the best eating varieties of early season fruit. Try this Apricots stuffed with Goat Cheese recipe. It would be great as part of a platter for the weekend.

Seasonal Tip: This week we have heaps of new things in. Look out for Northland Corn, Raspberries & Blackberries (also from Northland) and Hawkes Bay Peaches are in now too. Does that mean it's Summer?

It's Mince every night this week
There are heaps of dinner options if Mince is your bag. It's buy 1 kilo and get a second for free this week. If you want to mix up your Nachos I can recommend the New Beetroot Corn Chips from GoNutz. They're super tasty.

Broccoli Barbeque
There is always room for more Broccoli on my plate. Surprisingly Broccoli is an excellent BBQ vegetable. Grilling it on a fire really adds to the texture and flavour. Check out this version and have a go this week.

Beetroot is not just for Burgers
Beetroot is one of my favourite vegetables. Grated raw it's a great base for a salad that will last up to a week in the fridge, so ideal to make ahead of time. I have posted this Raw Energy Salad before but if you have not tried it then this is the week to do so.

Turkey Time
Soaking a Turkey in a brine bath makes it super succulent, I totally recommend it, however it's a tricky operation to do at home. This year we have an in-house Turkey Bathing service. If you would like the pain free Brined Turkey just order one by replying to this email. It will cost $20 on top of your Turkey. We will have it ready for you the day before you need it.

Sausage of the Week
We have gone classic this week, Pure Beef is an Old School Sausage where Beef is the Star. I would recommend you have one with a Birkenhead Brewing Company Double IPA.
BTW: We sell Beer
See you this week,
Locally Yours
