Jubilee Scotland AGM

Dear friends,
You are very warmly invited to Jubilee Scotland’s AGM which takes place on Monday December
10th at Augustine United Church 41, George IV Bridge, Edinburgh at 6pm. This meeting will give
you the opportunity to find out more about Jubilee Scotland’s current work and to share your
ideas about what we can all do to as part of the debt justice movement. Refreshments will be
served.
This is a very challenging time for Jubilee Scotland as we seek to make the very best use of our
very limited financial resources to campaign for debt justice and to inspire people in Scotland to
engage with the issues and take action against unjust debts.
We are very eager to work with our member organisations and supporters to strengthen our
campaign. We hope that our AGM will provide a good opportunity to listen to your views and
ideas as we think about current campaigns relating to debt and discuss our future plans.
Jubilee Scotland urgently needs more Board members so we invite member organisations to put
forward the name of someone who would be suitable. We are now also able to appoint interested
individuals to the Board so invite all of you to consider whether you might be willing to offer to
serve on the Board or know someone who might be keen to do so.
Our Campaign Director Kirsty Haigh is very willing to meet up to explore ways Jubilee Scotland
might be able to actively engage with any of our member organisations and with new groups of
people.
