Budget 2018

Homes England's £653m strategic partnerships with housing associations was welcome news to come out of the Chancellor’s Budget last month.
See Media client Stonewater secured the largest grant of £224m, along with The Guinness Partnership. Nicolas Harris, chief executive of Stonewater, outlined what he believes needs to happen next in Social Housing magazine. 

 

APPG for Housing and Employment

Our client Give us a Chance (GUAC) launched the new All Party Parliament Group for Housing and Employment earlier this month.
Next week, the organisation will hold its annual reception, at which Employment Minister Alok Sharma MP will help launch the new Communities that Work campaign.

Staff get a say in resident engagement

Housing staff at the Royal Borough of Greenwich had the opportunity to share their opinions about the local authority's resident engagement strategy during a session run by See Media, this month.
Their contributions are now being worked into the council's Capital Investment Programme.
