Market Notes from Noni

Our final market of 2018 is this Saturday. Can you believe the season is finally coming to a close? We'll be open from 10 am - 12 pm for the most ultimate market of this year. Feel free to stock up on storage crops and eggs as our produce won't be available through the cold winter months.

Thank you all for sharing another season with our team. It makes our hearts happy to know our food has nourished you and your communities this year. For now the Farm is a quiet space blanketed in cover crops, but we'll return in the new year when days are longer and sunnier!

Feature Vegetable - Red beets

A staple winter crop, red beets are a versatile veggie to keep in your crisper. Grated into a salad or slaw, cooked into a hearty borscht soup, or roasted in the oven, many of your winter dishes will benefit from a pop of beet-red colour and flavour!

Market Recipe Blog: Baked Fennel Dip

This week's market recipe blog features fennel, which has a sweet, fragrant, anise-like flavour and pairs perfectly with this rich and creamy cheese dip. It will be a huge hit at any dinner party, with a side of fondue items such as roasted veggies, bread, and crackers!

Check out this tasty dip recipe on our market recipe blog.
