ADHD study
I am conducting a study looking at discharge of ADHD patients from community paediatrics services and, in particular, the content and format of discharge letters. I would be most grateful if you could spend a few minutes
completing a short questionnaire. This should take only a few minutes to complete and will be available to complete until February 2019).
I hope that the findings of this study will contribute to improvements in discharge services for patients with ADHD. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me at (
deepa.agarwal1@nhs.net). This study is being conducted as part of my MSc at UCL Institute of Child Health.

International Paediatric Association survey
The
International Paediatric Association and the
International Association for Adolescent Health are undertaking a survey to explore paediatric practice across the world. They are particularly interested in learning more about adolescent health and the upper age limit of paediatric services in different settings.
Please help to provide an accurate image of paediatric practice across the UK by
completing the survey (should take 8-10 minutes).
PCO UK release of Key Practice Points
Frontline Healthcare professionals need quick access to evidence-based, up to date, symptom and sign based guides to paediatric presenting conditions. That’s why Paediatric Care Online (PCO UK) offers and includes a wealth of up to date resources you can access at any time.
Throughout 2018 new content has been developed for the platform. September and October saw the release of 10 new KPP topics, covering Attachment difficulties, Clubbing, Depressed mood, Hyperglycaemia, Neonatal sepsis, Psychotic behaviour, Pyrexia of Unknown Origin, Spasticity, Stroke and Traumatic Injury; bringing the total number of conditions to 112.
This content is unique to PCO UK, as is the RCPCH Child Protection Companion - your handbook on all forms of child abuse. It covers child protection processes across the whole range of medical and social interactions: from examination, to identification, to referral, to court.
To view all KPP topics, PHEs Green Book, the RCPCH Child Protection Companion and much, much more visit the PCO website.
