Angel's I9 card, a visa document she must have to leave the country, has disappeared. Please join us in prayer that it will be found quickly. She cannot leave the country without it. It can take 2-3 months to replace it. Our visas expire January 11th so we cannot stay while we wait for processing.
We are afraid it fell out of our documents folder while we were in the airport in Manilla or Davao. We were planning on flying to Malaysia. Wendi was to speak at a homeschool conference. Instead, when the card could not be found, we had to cancel the Malaysia flight for Wendi and Angel. Bill flew on to Malaysia for the week. Wendi and Angel took the bus to a different terminal and bought tickets back to Davao which left later that day. Basically, the two of them were awake for 24 hours, not to mention the disappointment of not being able to continue the trip to Malaysia and an unplanned Thanksgiving week without Bill (and vice versa).
Wendi has looked for the card in case we left it at home, but it has not turned up. The house is small. We do not have a lot of stuff. There are not many places it could be.
