Hello everyone!
I wanted to share the very sad but very exciting news - that Amanda Conlee is leaving her position at Get Lit to move to Florida and run March For Our Lives nationwide as their Director of Operations!
Amanda has been with Get Lit for almost five years. She started as our Manager of Operations and moved up to Director of Operations. Under her helm Get Lit's budget and number of schools served have more than tripled. She provided the infrastructure to support our immense growth, systemizing and organizing the back end of Get Lit all while co-producing the Classic Slam, booking Blitz shows, and so much more.
And while there is no replacing her, I am happy to report that we have a replacement! Tess Jablon has officially started and is in training with Amanda until December 21st, which is Amanda's last day.
Starting on 12/21 all communication which would have gone to Amanda can go to Tess at tess@getlit.org.
So here's to new beginnings!
