Funding Mechanisms

Improving Water Access in Kenya

In recent years, prolonged periods of drought in Kenya’s drylands have brought to light the challenges that communities will face as climate volatility worsens. NGOs and donors as well as private sector players are exploring how they can help these vulnerable populations to better prepare and build resilience to these changing conditions. We explore the implications of adopting these funding mechanisms alongside accompanying management systems to ensure financial viability, inclusion and accountability. Read more here.
