DECEMBER 2018 MONTHLY UPDATE

Congrats to Brandon Alexander of Phi Beta Sigma (pictured above, center) for winning Mr. Pink and Green and Cameron Prejean of Omega Psi Phi (pictured above, left) for being first runner-up. 
Mr. Pink and Green is an annual male pageant hosted by the Epsilon Lambda chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

FRATERNITY/SORORITY LEADERSHIP 101
 
Just recently elected a new chapter executive board? Remember that two (2) of the top three (3) officers must complete a session of Fraternity/Sorority Leadership 101 in order to re-register as a Registered Student Organization. 'FSL 101' sessions equip chapter leaders with important information about CFSL programs, policies, and procedures necessary to successfully navigate their first few months as a chapter leader.

UNITED GREEK COUNCIL (UGC)
UGC wrapped up the semester with a two day retreat to plan for the spring semester. UGC would like to welcome all the new members to the community. Next semester the UGC Celebration event will be on January 22nd so get excited!

These gentlemen are invigorated to progress the IFC community forward for the upcoming year. If you see them around, feel free to wish them a congratulations on embarking on this leadership journey. 

Lastly, IFC is in the process of creating a work group to revisit & edit its constitution to ensure consistent and fluid operating procedures and standards. This task force is set to begin its work within the spring semester. If anyone from the IFC, Panhellenic, MGC, UGC, or NPHC communities are interested in sitting on this task force, please contact Javon Miller (jfmille4@central.uh.edu).
