Dung Gee
Year of the Pig 2019

Today we move into a completely new yearly cycle around the Sun. In Chue Style, we recognise the winter solstice as the start of the New Year.

Welcome to Year of the Earth Pig!

The winter solstice is today, the 22nd December, which is known as Dung Gee in the Chinese calendar. From this moment forward the yang energy starts to rise again, as the days become longer and lighter. This is true for the Northern hemisphere. However, for the Southern hemisphere, they experience the opposite movement – the beginning of declining energy, as the yang energy of their summer slowly starts to give its powers to yin energy. All this begins with the summer solstice or Ha Gee at the same moment in the Southern hemisphere. The energies are different, as are the cycles of nature.
Grand Master Chan Kun Wah is the first Master who has researched these different energies.  For decades, he has spent time in Southern hemisphere researching the differences between the different hemispheres. He is the first person to have made a distinction between the horoscopes of the Northern and Southern hemisphere. His research demonstrates that two people who are born at the same moment, one in the Northern hemisphere and the other in the Southern hemisphere, will have completely different Ba Zi’s (Chinese horoscopes), as well as different fates.
This is the power of Chue Style. We have many methods and skills that are not accessible to the general public around the world. This is the advantage of having a real lineage of truly great Grand Masters, who excelled in their skills. Due to Grand Master Chan's research and knowledge, we use a different approach to calculate Northern and Southern horoscopes. It is like the yin and the yang or the darkness and the light - one pole is having winter and the other summer. There could not be one without the other.

2019 - the year of the Earth Pig

On 22nd December 2018, the new energy of the Pig starts to come in.
The year of the Dog (2018) was not a smooth year for many people. There were plenty of natural disasters that suddenly happened around the world. We have experienced several earthquakes, a tsunami, wildfires, heat waves, typhoons, heavy rain and deadly floods. The prediction for 2018 was that world events would happen swiftly and dramatically. They most certainly did.
This year (2019) is also going to be a challenging one for many people. Its energy is not going to be easy to balance. The year’s energy indicates that there might be problems arising from human mistakes. Also, in general, it is not going to be a good year for leaders.
According to the Chee Ba or "Purple and White" method, the Centre or the Tai Chi location is quite strong. This means that the core is good. The two most challenging directions are the SW, with the 5 yellow star and the NE, with the 2 black star. They can both relate to a sick energy. They show an excess of the earth element in the NE-SW axis. Buildings on this axis are going to have the most problems in 2019.
The Ba Zi for 2019 shows that the earth is wet and cold. The using elements are not present in the chart, indicating that the year ahead could be challenging for many people.

THE 9. FATE

According to Chue Style Feng Shui the 9th fate started in 2017. It is the longest of all the fates (time periods) and it is also the most intense, as it is completely yang. Globally, it brings about more natural disasters, sudden climatic changes, unfamiliar diseases and stress.
Humans always follow the energy. As the energy of the 9th fate is very fast, we can experience that energy in our everyday lives. The world around us is rushing more than ever before and a lot of people are not happy with their lives. There is more illness, dissatisfaction, broken relationships and corruption.
Everyone seems to have “no time” for anything. Children are overwhelmed at schools by their responsibilities, the school curriculum and being pushed towards overactivity. More and more people are working longer hours. As a result, people feel exhausted and easily become unwell.
This is the energy of the 9th fate on a human level. It is all yang and very difficult to handle. The strongest effect is felt in the cities, where stress, chaos and distractions prevail. It has become more difficult to see the true picture and remain connected with yourself.

During the 9th fate, we need to be more conscious in working harder to stay relaxed. This seems contradictory but it is true. To let go means to give in and become part of the rush that surrounds us. To ‘work harder’ just means to slow down, consciously making decisions that will lead us towards a healthier and a more relaxed life.
Firstly, it is most important to start our day with ease. Our Grand Master says, ‘Never, ever rush in the morning’. It will influence your whole day. Also, take time in the morning, do a calming, grounding routine and be grateful for all that you have in life.
Secondly, make your home a relaxing haven. In the 9th fate, it is more important to have a calm environment (yin aspect), as external energies can be quite intense. Our home should be decorated in soothing colours and images. A quality Feng Shui consultation can fine tune your home so that it will support you.
Finally, spend as much time as you can in nature. It has been scientifically proven that natural environments, such as forests or the seaside can reduce levels of stress hormones.
The importance of supporting home and working environments are needed more than ever. Your home and business premises can be aligned by a Feng Shui consultant to your unique, personal, supporting energy. This activates the energy that will stimulate the healing where it is needed in your environment. This is what our trained Chue Style practitioners do, using their invaluable skills that they learned through many years of intense training.

It is now time to regain our balance.
