Roger Thorne is our longest serving District Officer.  He has for a long time provided advice and overseen the responsibilities Churches, Circuits and the District have in culling and archiving the information we have.

The Connexional Office provides online advice about archiving in line with Standing Orders in The Constitution and Discipline of the Methodist Church (CPD).  See https://www.methodist.org.uk/for-ministers-and-office-holders/office-holders/archivists/  but local knowledge and advice has proved very helpful.

Roger is not able to be as mobile as he once was but retains his interest as District Archivist.  What he really needs is someone to work with him and be ready to take up the reigns when he decides to retire.
