Thanksgiving to Cyber Week?

Bae recently reminded me it was time to reach out to my fam, as it’s Cyber Week. I’ve been feeling salty lately, as I’m not too woke, and increasingly finding I don’t really understand what people are talking about half the time. I admit I’ve been feeling extra millennial lately, but mostly just too tired to keep pace with the hot vocabulary and marko-babble.

I only realized yesterday what Cyber Week is. BIBLE!

It was floating around in my aging mush of a brain that it must be a promotion for a new film or TV show – like Shark Week. TBH, I ‘m not joking. I was shook the other day when someone said the new Chasing Hemingway’s Ghost shirt was on fleek and maybe even the goat. Well, that pissed me off enough to get with it, learn some new millennial terms, and send out a way too savage Mumbo Jumbo.

I been adulting this week, and decided to hire a new young marketing team to put some snap in my plug. One change you might notice immediately is they’ll be superimposing my head on other people’s bodies in my new promotional photos. My understanding is they’ll be using a number of different bodies in the new posters, depending on the demographic and location of each concert. Then in 2020, they’ll evolve into using other people’s heads as well. I think it’s brilliant and I’m dead and in Hundo P.

They’ve also suggested I switch to a proper stage name, as Scott Kirby is so then. So from now on, I’ll be known simply as JOMO (joy on missing out).

PERF!

Buy the new Chasing Hemingway’s Ghost shirt and get a free CD

I don’t think any of my merchandise has created as much conversation as this shirt. It was inspired by rock ’n’ roll tour shirts that list venues or cities on the back. We chose instead to list fifteen of Ernest Hemingway’s favorite haunts around the world. Finding the better-known ones in Paris, Madrid, Havana, and of course Key West was easy, but a bit of research was required to find the others. I’ve only visited six, but hoping to get to the other nine soon.

Order your shirt by December 24 at the Little Flock music store, and we will send you a free copy of the CD!

The Smokin’ Tuna hits Duval!

Those of you who have visited the Tuna in the last year probably noticed our new backyard seating area with its own bar. We've expanded our Old Town compound to include a new, adjacent Smokin’ Tuna bar right on Duval. You will now be able to access the outdoor bars and music stage directly from Duval Street. The new venue will serve the same menu and will be a great place for music, sports and special events. Check it out.

                 Thanks for listening!
