Hey there,

Over the past month I've been revamping the tools and guides available on PortableCTO.com. One of them that I'm really proud of is a massive Guide to Building APIs.

While directed at non-technical founders, anyone who isn't taking full advantage of data and functionality in third party APIs needs to read this guide. At the end, there are 5 tools for building APIs without code that you should check out if you want to save a ton of time on your next project.

Seriously, this guide is massive and designed to be readable by anyone - even if you currently have no idea what an API is, so check it out, and please give me your feedback!

In this post, the author breaks down what makes these landing pages great at conversions.

"Facebook is pivoting to Stories. But when your platform is the size of Facebook’s, no change is ever simple."

"Sooner or later, you’re going to run out of the early adopters. Probably sooner. Suddenly, your cost per customer goes way up. Suddenly, you’ve shifted from keeping up with demand to running on fumes."

Remind me again why more Nicholas Cage movies means more drownings?
