It's been a super-exciting few weeks!

We've been raising awareness with the help of TV and social media.

As a local charity that receives a (massively appreciated) grant from BBC Children in Need, Footprints was approached to feature in the build up to the
annual fundraising show to let audiences see just how their donations are spent (this time with Thomas and mum, Helene). The short film has had 28,000 views so far on the BBC news page.

We were also approached by
Notts TV to film a session with Xander and his Grandma, Louise.  Katie, a Notts TV graduate intern, found out about our charity by investigating a tweet about teapots!

What better way to reach and empower more families than by having parents (and grandparents) talk about their experiences, so this is a big thank you for accommodating us during your sessions and at home.

Jelly on a plate!
High-Five to three-year-old Ben, who has overcome his avoidance and dislike of messy textures (well, jelly for one). This is a fantastic achievement!
Exciting news!

We're delighted to have recruited Abbey-Rose Williams, a new Junior Conductor, who is joining us in January. We can't wait to welcome Abbey to our Footprints Family!

Announcing two new Footprints ambassadors!
Two fantastic new ambassadors have joined the team - Becky Sheeran and Karen Richards are already active supporters and we are looking forward to them being more involved. Thank you, ladies.

Working hard to raise awareness of our charity, ambassadors are Len Simmonds, Jackie Clark, Kryshia Ford-Wilson, Lisa Fox, Dave Taylor, Karen Richards, Becky Sheeran, Caroline Samworth and Sally Radford.

Plus, our own Superhero Patron - world record holder and paralympian, Richard Whitehead MBE!

Thank you to our donors - Grants and Trusts funders, company fundraisers and individual supporters. You help to keep our charity going!

We’ve had some fantastic fundraising activities recently, so please, take a look at what’s been happening (and what’s coming up!). See how you are helping
Footprints to support children with disabilities and their families.

Gift in kind support is an enormous help, and we benefit from the kindness of
Dijitul Web Design, Midland Regional Printers, Ovy Design, The Dairy Agency and Dabbler Media.

Little Footprints Ball
Following the success of the first event in 2016, our ambassador Lisa Fox's second event for us was at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and the setting was perfect.

The Little Footprints Ball raised £14,500 thanks to Lisa and supporters Touch of Charm, Francesca and Alan March, Donna Jordan, and Dave Taylor - Original Nottingham Forest Memorabilia - grateful thanks to some incredibly generous auction and raffle donors, bidders and ticket purchasers too!

Did you know that we have a Football team?!

Team Footprints FC is the exciting outcome of Paul Brooks' first football event for Footprints in September.

The team's first official game is on Sunday, 2nd December in Eastwood and they will be sporting a brand new kit sponsored by
Recon Electrical and the Dog and Parrot.

If you aren't a Facebook user, email us at enquiries@footprintscec.org and we will forward. BTW - if you're a Hollyoaks fan, see 'Dirk Savage' here talking about #TeamFootprintsFC!

Robin Hood Half Marathon

£6,000 (almost one year's support for two families), that's the amazing fundraising total of our brilliant Robin Hood Half runners including four-year-old Laurence, who raised £737.98 by running in the mini-marathon!

Thank you: Chris Beckitt, Deb Farrell Daly, Karen Richardson, Laura Shaw, Kate Tew, Dave Taylor, Dan White, Abi Sharpe, Ellie Moppet, Katy Potter, Sarah Merrill.  We must also thank the 'support crew' for helping with our race village stall and for being the most animated 'race marshall' team!

Afternoon Tea in Plumtree

What a fabulous way to spend an afternoon!

Thanks to Lucie Gregory and
The West Bridgford Liberty Singers, the event raised more than £2,000 for Footprints! Mike and Jackie Clark also provided lots of support with the Burnside Memorial Hall, it's a lovely venue.

Haircut anyone?

Thank you to Suleyman Basar, Mira's father, for raising £657.85 for Footprints from some very generous customers and supporters!

Thank you to everyone involved in the fundraising!

A new fundraising activity!

Coming up in 2019!

Around this time we would be talking to you about our Cherub's Ball.

We are, but a bit like our charity, it's got a new name!

We're delighted to announce the Footprints Superhero Ball on Saturday 18th May at Colwick Hall.

It's our first birthday!

May 2019 is our first anniversary as Footprints and it's the perfect opportunity to celebrate. Come and leave your footprint on the dance floor and help to make our birthday bash 'super' special!

The definition of 'Superhero' is "a person whose actions or achievements are far greater than what people expect".  We meet these Superheroes every single day – they're among us, the children and their families, our Trustees and ambassadors, fundraisers, our staff – it’s a long list! So, come and join us in celebration of Superheroes  - we won't be asking you to wear a Lycra suit and a cape (unless you really want to); it’s Black Tie and glamorous frocks as usual.

Limited time to get a great deal!
We're excited to offer an amazing Christmas discount to get the ‘Ball’ rolling. Book a table for ten, pay by 31st December, and the cost will be £450 (£45 pp).

The price per table from 1st January will be £550 (£55 pp) and still incredible value!
