December 2018 Newsletter
Welcome to the PolicyBristol newsletter - a monthly showcase of the latest policy-relevant news and research from the University of Bristol.

A few weeks ago, we gave policymakers a chance to quiz academics in our second 'reverse' Question Time event. Diverse research topics were discussed: the implications of management consultancy costs, fintech and poverty, historic alcohol labelling and raw dog food!

In this newsletter you will find accessible and informative research evidence on breathlessness, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder and food law. There's also comment and analysis on Brexit, including the future role for mayors.

As legislative and political work on the draft EU Withdrawal Agreement and future partnership political declaration continues apace, we would like to take the opportunity to wish everyone a restful break over Christmas and the New Year.
