The Blockland Solutions conference, the kickoff of a local push to establish Northeast Ohio as fertile ground for the new digital technology called blockchain, impressed locals among the 1,500-plus who attended with the range of programs and the number of technology leaders who came to speak. The power of community cannot be understated. It’s a core belief of our work here at TechOhio—that our independently strong organizations and communities are even stronger when they work together. Cleveland Clinic sets record with 2017 Community Benefit report
In 2017 Cleveland Clinic Provided $906.5 Million in community benefits according to a report released on December 2nd. This is the highest community benefit level every reported in the history of the Clinic. Examples of community benefit include direct financial assistance, Medicaid shortfalls, subsidized health services, outreach programs, education and research. The total community benefit represents a 5% increase over 2016 and demonstrates their commitment to the community. See the Full-Story.
