Happy Holidays Deer Runners!
We hope that your Thanksgiving was wonderful and that you were as blessed as we were to have a chance to reflect on everything we have to be grateful for. At the top of our list are Camp Deer Run and all of you who make it such a special place where campers, families, and visitors alike can experience God. We're thankful for all of the special moments you've allowed us to be a part of at CDR, and for all the support you give us.
Another blessing we could never forget to mention is our summer staff. Without their willingness to serve and their tireless effort, Camp Deer Run couldn't exist. This is especially relevant to us at this time of year. Applications for our 2019 summer staff are now open, and the process of recruiting and selecting this summer's staff is well underway.
Over the past month, we've visited Lubbock Christian, Abilene Christian, Oklahoma Christian, and Harding in search of fun, Jesus-loving college kids who want to sacrifice their summer to bring the gospel to our campers. We were so blessed during these trips to meet so many young Christian men and women, to share our mission with them, and to encourage them to apply. We're confident that God will provide, and is already providing, a very special group of young people to shepherd His children at Camp Deer Run this summer.

Registration for Hoche Retreat is now open! Campers aged 14-17 are welcome to join us for a weekend of camp just for Hoches from February 15-17th. Last year, over 160 campers attended, and we plan to have a full house again this year! We’ll have all the best parts of camp wrapped up into one weekend, with group bible, cabin bible, group activity, cabin activity, quiet time, hymn time, ball games, a cookout, night devo, and more! You won’t want to miss this awesome weekend of faith, fun, and friends at Camp Deer Run.

Red Carpet Premiere Event

On February 2nd, 2019, the Camp Deer Run Red Carpet Movie Premiere will be held at the historic Palace Theater in downtown Grapevine, TX. The premiere will be a key part of our end of year fundraising efforts, mentioned above, to build three new cabins this year. We’d like to invite you to become a sponsor of the Red Carpet Premiere fundraising event.
