Hallelujah, it's here! We have it on good authority that the bicycle path along the south bank of the Rio Salado habitat restoration area is now passable from 15th Avenue in Phoenix all the way to Mesa. Let's roll!

ADOT offers bike/ped newsletter
The Arizona Department of Transportation's Bicycle and Pedestrian program now offers newsletters. The list is broken into districts, so you can sign up for only the areas that interest you. Sign up.

Luminaria Rides expand
Last month's two nights of luminaria tours in the Willo neighborhood were a rousing success. We ho-ho-hope to do it again this year. Thanks to all who decorated their bikes and joined our jolly rides!

Grand Canal access limited
Heads up! January 11th through February 8th, the Grand Canal will be dry between 56th Street and 24th Street for SRP maintenance work. There are no planned hard closures but signs are being posted that canal banks are closed to recreational use.
