Happy December...a couple days late! I have a good reason for my tardiness though; I spent December 1 at this year's Heroes and Villains Fan Fest in San Jose, where I met Jenna Elfman and Victor Garber:

That same evening, I saw Elizabeth Gilbert speak about finding bravery within creativity. One of the big takeaways from her talk was the importance of rest. Something I'm trying to do more often.

I also learned a great deal from the authors I interviewed in November:

Featured Authors: November 2018

November 7: Hugo Award winner Mary Robinette Kowal talked about THE CALCULATING STARS, the latest book in her Lady Astronaut series.

November 13: NYT Bestselling author Jesse Andrews answered some questions about his new book MUNMUN, what it's like to work on screenplays, and ways our society often succumbs to oversimplification.

November 21:  Science Fiction author William Ledbetter talked about how his experiences in the aerospace and defense industry inspired his book LEVEL FIVE.

November 28: A.G. Stewart discussed SPARE CHANGELING, the newest book in her Changeling Wars series.

From the Interview Archives:

2017: Brigid Kemmerer talked about how she had an outline at her side when she wrote LETTERS OF THE LOST. Her newest book, A CURSE SO DARK AND LONELY, will come out in January 2019.
