The Holiday Gift Shop is scheduled for Friday, December 14. Older students will help younger students shop, wrap, and label gifts for the people on their list. Please make every effort to have your child at school on time Friday so that everyone can have a leisurely shopping experience.
The last day of school before the Christmas break is Friday, December 21. Dismissal is from 11:30 until noon. Lunch will not be served.
MEC is thrilled to be celebrating 40 years of providing children of our community with an authentic Montessori experience. We will be celebrating this special milestone on March 30, 2019, with a Homecoming at the school. We are inviting Montessorians from far and wide, (including the very first students from the Pineville location) up to our recent graduates. We are accepting non-perishable food items for our Winter Food Drive until December 19, 2018. Items collected will be taken to the Food Bank of Central Louisiana on December 20.
Please come inspect the Lost and Found. The baskets are full to overflowing; there is no room in the inn. Items positively will be donated over the Christmas holiday, never to be seen again.
