Happy Holidays My Dear Friends

iT IS A BLESSING TO HAVE YOU IN MY LIFE

Our year is soon coming to a close but we have a very festive season to enjoy in the mean time. Regardless of what holidays you do and do not celebrate this month we all can take this time to go inside and reflect on the year that has past. The winter months are often a sad time due to the lack of sunshine and the colder temperatures. But this month we all gather around fire places and celebrate the returning of the sun around the winter solstice.

I hope you all enjoyed our Customer Appreciation Month last month. There is still time to join our Patreon at the Magnificent Mentha level or higher to get our Customer Appreciation Gift Package sent to you in time for the holidays. We try to make sure that our Patrons get a few extra surprises each month and now that we have our YouTube Channel up and running Magnificent Mentha Patrons get early access to our videos. in addition to discounts on our Consultation Services.

If you have not yet had a chance to head over to our YouTube channel you can now watch our first video there on how to Make an Herbal Salve. This video is integral if you got your Customer Appreciation Gift Package with your single salve kit inside. We are looking forward to having one new video a month on herbs, making herbal products, and eventually on health, wellness, and movement as well. Thank you for helping us grow our YouTube page by subscribing to The Dancing Herbalist.

I hope you really enjoyed our Yoga for Back Pain Series in our blog during November. If you are looking to incorporate all of these activities into a daily protocol for yourself you can find out recommendations for our back pain protocol here. All of our patrons get free access to this full protocol and you can get access by becoming a patron at our Nutritious Nettles level. Be sure to also use your Warming Salve for your back pain as well. Even I forget sometimes that I have this amazing pain relief product sitting right next to me.

Live Classes Starting Again

I know it has been a while but we are super excited to get these going again in 2019. I want to make sure that everyone can get caught up with their first level classes before moving on to our new module 2 classes. If you plan to continue on be sure to have completed Human Physiology Module 1, Wellness Module 1, and Materia Medica Module 1 before registering for module 2 of each of these classes. Our Plant Identification Class and Herbal Product Preparations Module 1 may also be completed before continuing on but they are not yet necessary to have completed.

Look for the announcement of dates for these classes in January, with classes starting as early as February. If finances are a challenge for you and you would like to participate in this program simply respond to this e-mail and we will work out an alternative for you.

Herb of the Month: Calendula

If you don't know my three favorite herbs it is time you find them out! Garlic is probably my favorite herb that I believe everyone should take a healthy dose of every day. There is not stopping this powerful antimicrobial herb. Then comes arnica-a powerful anti-inflammatory herb with a fascinating history and stunning modern research on it's usage. But nothing comes close to calendula with it's healing powers and systemic capabilities of reducing inflammation.

Calendula was one of the first herbs I learned about and it has stayed by my side through my entire herbal career thus far. I became close with this herb because I has having skin irritations that would not quit. They come back every so often and I know calendula is going to be right there to help me as long as I stay away from the essential oils

But it is not just the skin that calendula is great for. Calendula supports reducing systemic inflammation, yes the whole body, as well as supporting the liver and our detoxification processes. With all of the chemicals we are exposed to daily we could all use more calendula in our tea cup.

So this month I want to give you all with some calendula for the holidays. Keep it for yourself or gift it to someone in need, every customer who makes a $50 order before December 15th (when we are closing for the holidays) will receive a free 2oz calendula cream. If you have a preference on which sent send us an email but we cannot ensure that we will have them all available the closer we get to December 15th.

Spend $50 and get a
FREE Calendula Cream

Be sure to place your order before December 15th
