Christmas Party

Merry Christmas everyone and we look forward to seeing you all for the bring a dish Christmas party next week.

If you weren't at last month's meeting and are not sure what to bring please just bring something to share or just come along. Please can all food be labelled if they contain allergens (gluten, nuts etc) and if it's a shop bought item please cut out the ingredients list and place it next to it.

In a bid to be environmentally friendly (and save on the washing up!) we will not be using disposable plates so can everyone please bring their own plate and cutlery.

We'll be running our Christmas raffle, which this year goes to our charity, LinkAge. Plus they'll be some games, a glass of bubbly (or non-alcoholic), and the traditional announcement of next year's programme.

Looking Ahead

New Members and Renewals for 2019

Membership for 2019 will be on a first come first serve basis at our January 2019 meeting. Membership costs £42.00 for the year.

All members (new and renewals) will need to fill out a membership form to ensure everyone’s details are up to date. If you can please print and fill this out in advance it will be a big help! If you are renewing but can't make the meeting, you can ask a friend to bring the cheque and membership form along for you in January or you can post it to us. The membership form and postal address will be available on our website in late December.

Charity Nomination for 2019

We will start discussing this at the January meeting so if you have any local charities you'd like to put forward please let us know.

Book Group

This month's Book Group has been cancelled. We will now be meeting on 9th January and not 12th December. The book to be discussed is The Power by Naomi Alderman.
