Elopements and small winter weddings  

November through mid-April Brambleberry hosts small weddings for 8 or fewer guests or elopements in the inn's library. Ceremonies are offered seven days a week. You may select from a number of readings we have prepared and add your own reading or vows. We can also provide witnesses if you need them. Brambleberry's lovely guest rooms are a great place to spend your wedding night! Prices start at $125 if you mail your completed marriage license to the courthouse and $150 if we deliver it in person.
We can often book an elopement with as little as nine days notice (the license has to be purchased six days in advance). Congratulations to Susan and Matthew who were married at Brambleberry on Dec. 1!

Decorated for the holidays   

The holidays are a beautiful time of the year at Brambleberry as the inn and winery are decked out in holiday splendor. It makes for a memorable stay or for an elopement to treasure forever. Here are some of the photos of the decorations.
 

Brambleberry is running a winter special through the end of March. Stay two nights and receive a $40 voucher for Brambleberry Winery which can be used on wine, pizza or gift shop items. 
 

Celebrate New Year's at Brambleberry

Say goodbye to 2018 at Brambleberry! The winery will be open from 4 to 9 p.m. on New Year's Eve. Book a room and ring in the new year in luxury.

Our latest release is The Apothecary -- a semi-sweet blend named after the medieval term for the person who sold or prepared drugs or concoctions. Brambleberry offers a new tasting lineup each week. Follow us on Facebook and you'll receive a sneak preview of the coming weekend's lineup. 

Book a winter murder mystery

Includes overnight accommodation, hosted murder mystery game and continental breakfast. You may purchase dinner at the inn for an extra charge. Consult with the innkeeper on menu. Wine and beer are also available for purchase until 9 p.m.

Lodging for 6 guests: $450, plus tax.

Prices for the murder mystery and dinner are $40 per guest, which includes salad, entree and dessert. You may choose from one of the the following entrees for your group: pizza, lasagna, Scandinavian meatballs, pulled pork sandwiches, basil pesto chicken, chardonnay and mustard chicken or roast turkey. Dinner includes a side dish and potatoes or rice.

Murder mysteries are held only during the winter season. Here are the 2018-19 available dates:

January: 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 25

March: 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22 and 23

Everyone loves a mystery. Amateur sleuths, these weekends are for you! If you like Agatha Christie or Hercule Poirot, here's a chance to engage your own detective skills.

Get your friends together for a private murder mystery at Brambleberry Winery. Overnight stays are required to participate with a minimum of three rooms. Extra guests without an acting part may serve as investigators.

Murder mysteries must be booked a minimum of two weeks in advance so we can get character information sent to participants.

Our murder mysteries are written by a professional writer. Additional investigators can be added.

You do not need to go a lot of expense preparing a costume, but it will certainly add to the experience. Check out your closet for clothes that fit the part and add one or two props. We can help with suggestions.

Once you select a character, we will send you information about your part, which you should not share with anyone else -- even your partner! We expect the mystery dinner evenings to take about 3 hours.

Remember, anything you say can be used in a court of law against you!
