Next I-Work! Canadian Hiring Practices


The next I-Work! covers the culture and system of Canadian companies hiring practices. Hear first hand from Canadian companies on how they structure their interviews and learn the best interview practices.

This session is perfect for students who are starting their career development, it offers advice and practice on communication skills both verbal and non-verbal; networking skills and understanding how to frame your skill set when encountering a different interview style.

One week until the annual UAI Winter Party! 

University of Alberta International Winter Party is happening Friday, December 7 and it is the one event this season you don't want to miss! 

Come down to enjoy the festivities, refreshments (light finger
foods, and hot chocolate), live music, gingerbread cookie decoration, human bingo, and the annual favourite -- photo booth!   

The winter party is the perfect place to spend time with friends, old and new, play games and kick off the holiday season!

English Conversation Club - Cancelled Next Week


The English Conversation Club (ECC) is cancelled next week for the Winter Party. The ECC will resume the Friday following the winter party with a new and exciting topic for you to discuss.

The ECC is a great way to help improve your English speaking skills, make new friends and share cultural expressions. No registration is required, drop-ins are always welcome!
