Three reminders for all of our 8th grade families,
First,
The Minuteman High School 8th grade Presentation is TONIGHT, 7pm at Sanborn.
Here is a note from Minuteman High School:
Next Sunday, December 2, 2018, is our Open House from 10-1. One of our goals for that day (weather permitting), is to have guests tour the new school, which is still under construction. Would you please be so kind as to send out an email to your eighth grade parents letting them know that if they want to take part in this tour they must be wearing work boots. In addition, the tours will be limited to a certain number of parents/eighth graders who sign up on that Sunday.
Second,
The 8th Grade Washington DC Informational Meeting is scheduled for THIS Thursday, 7pm at Sanborn. A representative from World Strides will be on hand. We will also share out the results of the parent questioner offered last month.
Third,
Final notice: Eighth graders at CMS will be participating in this training during their health classes December 3rd through December 5th. Attached is a letter providing additional details to the program.
If you do NOT wish your child to take a written screening test for depression and participate in “SOS” Signs of Suicide intervention training in school, please complete this OPT OUT FORM and return it to the Main Office at CMS to the attention to me. (You may also share your concerns or hesitance with a reply to this email.)

If we do not hear from you, we will assume your child has permission to participate in this program. There is no need to return this linked form if your child plans to participate.
