We've recently launched a Health Professionals Network (HPN), which is a community of health professionals who provide care to people who have asthma or allergies, and want to help us improve our resources and services.
The HPN will be consulted for advice and assistance in the planning, delivery and/or evaluation of our projects, services and resources. As part of the HPN we will email you when opportunities are available. You can be involved as much or as little as you'd like.

Link discovered between childhood obesity and asthma
Medical websites have been reporting new research which shows that the reduction of childhood obesity could lower childhood asthma rates.
Originally published by Pediatrics, the journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the research found that the rate of asthma diagnosis among children with obesity was much higher than in childen within a normal weight range. In addition, up to 23 to 27 percent of new asthma cases are directly related to obesity.
