Camp Christmas

Longest Night Service
Friday | December 21 | 6:00 pm | Sanctuary
Not everyone is up and cheery for the Christmas holidays. This community service offers comfort for those who are dealing with the death of a loved one, facing life after divorce or separation, coping with job loss, or living with disease. The service will be led by Stephen Ministers, trained listeners who are ready to help.

Camp Christmas Volunteers
Training Saturday December 1 | 10-11am | Fellowship Hall. 
Serve as a guide or assist at a station. We  expect 30 children and want to keep the groups small. Donna also needs gulf carts and drivers so the children can have a parade of Christmas caroling for a few shut ins. Contact Donna to serve, 678-545-5539

Only 4 Stars Left on the Giving Tree
Help make this a special Christmas for a child in need.  There are only 4 stars left on the empty stocking fund giving tree. Take a star from the giving tree at the church office.  Please provide one item from the list (not to exceed $60) and then several smaller age appropriate items. Bring the items to the church office, unwrapped with the star attached, no later than Sunday December 16, 2018.

Honor Someone with Advent Decorations
The Worship Committee is asking our congregation to purchase poinsettias in honor or in memory of loved ones.  The $25 donation will go towards the beautification of our church during the Advent season.  The names of the individuals being honored or remembered will be printed in the bulletin on Sunday, December 16th, the day of our Christmas Musical.  This year, the poinsettias will only be used on December 16th.  You may take your plant after the service to enjoy during the Christmas Season. Please complete the form on the pew pad and drop it in the offering plate or by the church office no later than Monday, December 10th.    

Staff Christmas Gift
It is a tradition for our church to remember staff members during the Christmas season with a love offering as an expression of our appreciation. Our staff does a wonderful job leading the ministries of the church. To make a gift, designate it in a check as “staff gift”. Contributions may be placed in the offering or mailed to the church.
