All the dinner ideas and deals for this weeks Seasonal fare.

Blueberries are the Star this week, so you can get all the antioxidants you need before party season strikes. Eat them raw or your could make this Blueberry Chia Pudding, I think these are a great idea for breakfast.
Seasonal Tip: This is the week to get your Berry fix, all berries are eating really well and are all in plentiful supply from the market. Make sure you get some Raspberries, they are amazing. 

Go the Whole 9 Yards 

We picked up a bunch of Frozen NZ Eye Fillet this week and have them on the Blackboard for a super deal. This is a great chance to grab a couple for the summer holidays. Here are some good points on BBQing a Whole Eye Fillet.  

 

Truss Tomatoes

Tomatoes are all great value this week. If you are looking to do some homemade relish as Christmas gifts this is the week to do it. There are heaps of options and Truss is on the Blackboard for $3 a kilo. Have a go at this Roasted Tomato and Chipotle Sauce

Sunday Roast

It's good to see some Spring Lamb on the Blackboard this week. Slow Roasted Lamb Shoulder is the thing that got me hooked on slow cooking. Check out this version, its looks complicated but is actually pretty simple, the key is the Salsa Verde.

Turkey Time  

There is still time to get your Turkey Brined with us. Brining is the secret ingredient for a super moist Turkey.

Sausage of the Week  

Pure Pork is this weeks Star Sausage. I recommend giving it the Classic Bread and Sauce treatment and wash it down with a Pilsner.
