The PSU Cleantech Challenge is a competitive opportunity open to all PSU cleantech innovators and entrepreneurs. All undergraduates, graduates, and postdocs are invited to compete for $10,000 in grants and prizes. If selected as a semifinalist, you will join a prestigious cohort of other collegiate innovators who have designed and developed inventions that had a positive impact on society and/or our planet's resources.

To be eligible, submit an application. Eligible applicants will be invited to pitch their ideas to a panel of judges. Six semifinalists will be chosen and awarded a $1,500 development grant. Over the winter and spring term, you will be provided with support to build your prototype and business case with help from our community of experts and mentors. All semifinalists will showcase their innovations at TECHFESTNW for a chance to win the grand prize.
But that's only part of the benefit. As a Cleantech Challenge competitor, you'll gain invaluable access to the entrepreneur, cleantech, and investment communities in Oregon. You'll benefit from personalized mentoring from business experts. You'll earn recognition as a cleantech innovator, and you'll be well on your way toward making a difference in our resource-constrained world.
