Weekly Update
Just a reminder that we maintain a calendar of events on our website showing what's going on each week/month. Here's what's on offer this weekend and in the weeks ahead for our current members (you can renew your membership here):
PECS FRIDAY NIGHT DOUBLES - It's our monthly PECS Doubles week! Come on out for some doubles fun and then stop by PECS. Even if you're not playing, join the players after 9:00 for drink specials ($9 Bud pitchers, $1 off well drinks, and more!) and thank PECS for sponsoring our club. This week we will have timed play with your host Brad Blose. As always, sign ups begin at 6:00 with play beginning at 7:00.
SATURDAY CLINIC - It's our last clinic of 2018 with SDTF Hall of Famer Romeo Matias and his crew! The fun runs from 9:00 - 11:00 am at the San Diego High School courts.
SUNDAY TEAM TENNIS - The Team Tennis season continues with matches scheduled for 9:00 and 11:00 at either San Diego High School or Peninsula Tennis Club. Captains should have notified players of their time and location, but, if you are wondering where to play, contact Commissioner Jon Tyler.
SUNDAY - WE CARE 10 - SDTF member Junior Buendia invites everyone to join him, other San Diego GLBTQ sports organizations, and members of our community to come together and support kids in need. This annual event is this Sunday, 6:00 pm, at Rich's. More information can be found HERE.
SDTF BOARD ELECTIONS - SDTF Executive Board election voting opens tomorrow. You will receive an email from "San Diego Tennis Federation" with your voting link. Please VOTE!!!

PALM SPRINGS OPEN 25 - Congratulations to our SDTF members who competed and represented our club last weekend. A special shout out to the following players who had notable finishes: Kenn Baniqued and Min Lee, B Doubles Champions; Leo Agra, D Singles Finalist; Gordon McCord and Jerry Sabio, Open Doubles Semi-finalists; David Brown and Leon Ramos, C Doubles Semi-finalists; and Craig Salman, D Doubles Semi-finalist.
SDTF HOLIDAY PARTY - RSVP NOW for our annual Holiday Party, Sunday, December 9 at 4:00 pm. This year, we will be celebrating the holiday season and the 35th anniversary of the SDTF at Martini's Above Fourth. Plan on joining us for food, fun, and fellowship. We will also announce the winners of this year's Club Awards, the newly elected Executive Board, and have lots of other surprises. You won't want to miss it!
TEAM TENNIS ALTERNATES NEEDED: Commissioner Jon Tyler reminds all current SDTF members that you can be on the alternate roster for team tennis. Being an alternate makes you available to captains when they are looking for substitute players, and it's a fun way to play team tennis without a season-long commitment.
